I’ve tried quite hard to find any way to love NY the way they made me love London, but it’s just never happened. It was like a folie a deux across an entire fanbase, where we rejected what we saw and chose to live entirely in a parallel, shadow city of our own making ❤️💔❤️

Very hard to see them return w/o the guitarist I thought made them everything they were
& bc if that idk if I’ll ever see them again, but I’ll forever be grateful to them for making me fall in love w/their specific, romantic vision of London.

London will, for me, forever be tied up with my memories of Babyshambles, but Battersea esp even tho I always lived in East London. There was one show where he saw me & sang “it’s a long, long way from Hollywood to Battersea” instead of Bollywood 😭
