Maniac (1980) manages to be more disturbing than the 2012 remake despite showing less violence/gore. It’s so dark & gritty. The film grain + camera angles make it feel like you’re watching a snuff film. Those who know, know. But its still such an underrated gem

I think Al Pacino is the god of short kings. Dude is 5'6" yet has a menacing presence in every film he's in. He comes off so powerful while (often) saying so little. He isn't the "angry short man", he's truly a dominant character with his power & determination

Some people decorate their homes with framed photos with family members, partners, lifetime friends etc. I use pics with horror actors & musicians and this place couldn’t feel more like home.

I’m taking an L this morning. I made the mistake of trying a “brown sugar” flavored iced coffee at Wawa to shake things up. It is fucking VILE. The aftertaste is grating & I can barely swallow it. But nevertheless, we ball. I’ll suck this whole thing down for Friday Jr.

Neighbor came to me saying "I left my phone by the pool & they locked up so I cant get it & its about to storm. Can you help?" I hop the fence, grab her phone & bring it back. Just as I leave, the lifeguard comes back. "Did you just hop the fence? I was just in the bathroom!" lol

I often see him during the 6am hour too. I know this is how night shifts work, but I like to pretend he doesn’t sleep & never leaves that Wawa.
