jules.google.com is surprisingly solid for incremental coding on-the-go (tenfold with the new models)

a native mobile app for this would be awesome
Build with Jules, your asynchronous coding agent
Google’s autonomous coding agent Jules is now in public beta.

the agent manager in Google’s new Antigravity editor is neat

no window juggling, no bloated workspaces, just everything right there. surprisingly big win for multitasking!

6 years since Android’s focus mode dropped and still the best way to actually focus is banishing your phone to another room

dear lord, somebody needs to put together a steam machine front panel case for @usetrmnl.com pronto
An e-ink display can be used as the front panel on a Steam Machine (used for testing by Valve, will not be for sale) youtu.be/bWUxObt1efQ?...

can't help but respect Rockstar for doubling down and delaying GTA 6 again

most studios would’ve rushed a game with this much good press out for the easy cash

very rare in the industry to see one risk losing that momentum just to make a better product + give their devs the time to do it right

Ahem.

We give you Gander. The app. On a phone.

Not public yet… but it’s real, in our hands, and soon in beta.

The timing is a bit nuts… given we just opened investment to all Canadians (at frontfundr.com/gandersocial) but we’re over the moon.

Amazing what can get done with community.

canva bought affinity last year (one of the most compelling photoshop alternatives) and just released a new version, completely free!

interesting revenue model too: a fully featured, well-polished professional photo editor for $0, with monetization coming from optional AI features for premium users
The best Photoshop alternative just became 100% free
The new Affinity sounds too good to be true.

love the focus on the protocol! feels like bluesky is still in its early chapters, and instead of rushing to monetize, doubling down on the foundation is absolutely the right call
atmosphere devs! 🧑‍🚀

just published a protocol checkin: docs.bsky.app/blog/protoco...

tl;dr
expect to see a lot of updates from us in the next few months. we're hard at work on making AT easier to build on & ensuring the network remains a resilient foundation for the future of open social
Protocol Check-in (Fall 2025) | Bluesky
We last shared a protocol roadmap back in March 2025, and wow does time fly. If we're being honest, we haven't tied a bow on as many of these threads as we would've hoped. Oh time, strength, cash, and...

atproto all the things! this is the way

the coolest part of a “front page of the internet” app built on atproto is that, over time, it can add support for enough lexicons to actually become the front page of the (decentralized 🄯) internet

excited for this! I see a lot of JetBrains users switching in and out of Cursor for their workflows, there's a really strong case for splitting the agent from the editor
zed.dev Zed @zed.dev · Oct 6
JetBrains is adopting ACP.

Every @jetbrains IDE will support any ACP-compatible agent. Combined with Zed, Neovim, and Emacs, that's one protocol implementation reaching developers everywhere.

Agent developers: the ecosystem just got real.

simple and sweet! algorithmic beauty
Created "For You" feed which works like this:
- we find all posts you liked
- then we find other people who liked the same posts
- then we find what else they liked to create the "for you" feed

The aim of this algorithm is to be simple and transparent.

new Nothing phone is the clearest sign yet that the company's made it, you either hate it or you love it

the design is sparking the same type of discourse that you see around things like liquid glass and losing the headphone jack

between this, the new handheld, and the AMD partnership - very possible the next Xbox will just be a windows PC with a gaming-focused interface

would be great for microsoft (and very funny) if steam became the trojan horse for PlayStation titles
