octopath traveler really wins at making me absolutely hate some bundles of pixels that aren't even the main villains. because i finished master of fame chapter 2 a few hours ago now and i'm still disgusted by her!!!!! women's wrongs have finally reached a point of going too far!!!!!!

He doesn't play Bard, he just sticks with Archer. To still give out song buffs for the team, I always imagine he uses whistling arrows to inspire them, or have the arrows disperse some kind of buffing mist. Or both! :p

How does the way your WoL does their job(s) in canon differ from how the game presents them? Does your Scholar use a staff? Is your Esteem a Voidsent? What changes? Why?

Another daily Gog appreciation post but I think this is the first time they've had a well-balanced giant monster fight like this. Most are either beyond annoying or repetitive, or way too easy and barely put up a fight. Gog puts up a fight and has great variety in each phase, amazing!

Wow Gog is a really fun fight when you finally manage to get a competent party for it (support hunters work ofc but I like interacting with real people more).
I still need to look up by what the game means by shooting at his wingarms on phase 3 bc it doesn't seem to work for me.

Wow Gog is a really fun fight when you finally manage to get a competent party for it (support hunters work ofc but I like interacting with real people more).

Gogma Artian weapons are amazing because after a few weeks and people get their fights and upgrades in, I won't have to see anyone using artian weapons with no weapon skin! So the only people that I'll see using them are the FREAKS who intentionally layer over their weapon to make it ugly. :)

Since it's the end of the year, I wanted to make a list of my 10 favorite games that I played for the first time this year! (I played exactly 10 new games so nothing is left out)

Palia is the first game where I've ever had to make Solf or Sor LESS purple. The bright pastel colors did not make their usual "as much purple as possible" approach work...

PW4 update is fun, I've been needing some good musou lately c:
More enemies leading to specials charging faster honestly makes the game feel better since some characters do rely on gimmicks in their specials to function, so things just flow better. It also helps to keep FFB up as much as possible!

Completely forgot to share this here bc it happened the same day as the Pikmin 4 update, but the Octopath 0 demo came out and I threw Sor in there. Solf gets enough screentime in other games, I need to give Sor a chance!

FINALLY fished up enough squids to get the tentacle jig pendant. So much work for an ugly thing I'll never use (this is a bigger flex than any of the A rank arena pendants ngl)

Did a lot in Wilds today! :D
Finally got around to my AT Nu Udra A rank, but even more finally-er I built all of the base game layered armor! I was mostly missing stuff that needed small monster parts since farming that stuff is boringgggg.

After using support hunters for AT Nu Udra I can safely say these heauxs are still useless after the TU3 buffs </3
They're amazing for Omega specifically, but in any other fight it's still better to just do it solo if u don't want to deal with other players.
