I am being absolutely honest here when I say, "hanging in a red rope harness, chilling" made me almost spit take my tea as I was observing (respectfully) this new piece XD

One of my favorite art pieces from this artist. the warm colors and smiles and everything just makes the whole scene feel loving and fun and spirited. These two deserve more of this!!!

Vash gets baby brothers and sisters. He gets to show them around the world he was brought up in. the good and the bad (mostly the good) and show them the goodness in humanity that Nai was too stubborn to see until the very end. Now that's a redemption arc if ever I've seen >:)

... more absolutely could come as well. The original series keeps it very open ended for Vash and those who remain that he cares for. I find it surprising how little people touch on this possibility in fanart/fics of future launched Vash scenarios.

Not every scar is a bad one, either. Some scars are sad, bittersweet, but left by loved ones to be remembered and cherished. Vash is absolutely the sort who'd find sentimental value in something like that. And yes, I very much agree. I also firmly believe that if 2 independents could be made...

I have to remind myself (lest I break down and ugly cry) that, despite the sadness of losing Wolfwood, Meryl, Milly, Knives and eventually everyone else involved with him over time, his sisters are always there through it all. He has someone who he can always turn to, talk to, feel with and for.

Such bittersweetness in this concept. It takes a strong spirit to live for so long knowing u'll outlive generations of family, friends, loved ones across time and still choose to continue on with life. The sweetness is that he's never totally alone, tho. His sisters are always there, thru it all.

So majestic!!
