I’ve found the white space definitely is just a part of horror/tension set piece writing. But you also gotta bear in mind our weird brain translation layer which makes us imagine the scene shorter than it ends up being.

It won’t be as long as the pg count suggests, but you just gotta be aware

I think in this instance it was helpful (for crew moreso)! Nowadays I do just go with a pitch deck too, but sometimes I’ll do them both if I feel the project needs to be jeujed up abit. Tbh, it’s also just fun for me to do them at the end of the day
