I just checked. This is the 46th #battletech miniature that I've painted for myself, and somehow the first Inner Sphere house military unit. Tian-zong, Tau Ceti Lancers, Capellan Confederation.

The hands are a grey steel, as are the lasers beneath each forearm, and the barrels of the two gauss rifles, one mounted to each shoulder. The unit insignia, a lance laid across a stylized representation of a solar system, is clumsily attempted on one shoulder.

Sometimes you have to put a little love into what is essentially a piece of scatter terrain for some stompy robots. Model is a 3D print by The Lazy Forger.

One of my all time favorite games, X-wing, has a long running project to modernize it. Just received an alpha release, I cannot wait to check it out. It let's you customize your astromech! Games like this is why I am still playing Star Citizen today.

Pirates raid a factory zone on the planet Alyina. While the SRM Carriers did as SRM Carriers do, applying tons of damage before being wiped off the board, the defenders came away with an easy victory, due to not enough pirate mechs with hands to carry off loot. #battletech
