I remember being shown a verilog snippet and being one shot. Designing computers felt simultaneously insanely simple and almost impossible to wrap your head fully around.
So I new I had to get to chip design 👽

So I thought I wanted to be a software engineer. Took the intro classes and thought it was great. Then I took assembly and my professor used a Patterson & Hennessy arch book as our textbook and really wanted to show us how it all mapped down to architecture and hardware

I've been wanting to do something like this. Seems like the way to go is used gamer hardware rather than dedicated server stuff (besides the case). Is that true?
Right now I use my personal pc as a server and the storage is getting a little miserable
