Notably Anthony Fantano and a big band this is affecting, Hiatus Kaiyote, have made videos about this if you want to learn more.
They even started a really big petition, together with a whole bunch of well known artists, to try and get spotify to give a shit.
Absolutely baffling this is a problem...

This is a whole thing going on with Spotify right now and its affecting a loooot of artists. Basically because the distribution services dont have proper authentication, its really easy to upload anything to anyones page.
