Did that over a decade ago - so worth it!! If you start documenting a history of back pain with doctors now, it’ll be a lot easier to get it covered by insurance when you’re ready.

When I was a teenager even an eyelash in my eye was a major disaster because of how sensitive my eyes are. I decided to get contacts and it took a few hours of trying to get them in the first time but after that it was immediately easier and hasn’t been a problem since - you can do it!

For this surgery specifically, a heated vest helped a ton with the pain from the gas they use to inflate the abdomen. If you can’t grab one of them, a heating pad works as well. For me, the pain was mostly in my shoulders and upper back.

I didn’t get a cost estimate. Brain was $1,500 partially to meet my $800 deductible and the other was $200.

It’s insane. The two I had were $1,700 out of pocket after insurance and those were with pre-approval 🙃

Went there because it’s the ‘preferred lab’ for my insurance but insurance denied all of my tests anyway and apparently you don’t even get in-network pricing for denials! They also didn’t accommodate my medical condition some test results are not useful.
