This is what I wrote to Kamala on that fateful day. I watched in facination as my view count pumped to 1200 then hit a ceiling, while detractor spewed virile, was amplified.

Thoughts on this stock filtering playbook?

Is there anything you would change?

This article captured a moment of reckoning—a moment that called on Americans to confront their national identity. We need to acknowledge that while Trump may have been a catalyst, the divisions he exposed existed long before his presidency. Trump was just the first to amplify them for personal gain

The future of AI is about diminishing returns. 🧵

1/ Open-source models can reach “good enough” (e.g., 75% accuracy) with modest resources. Meanwhile, big tech needs to invest billions to push the frontier even slightly (e.g., from 80% to 82.5%). Why? Let’s break it down.

Picture this: you’re tasked with relocating all the infrastructure that sustains your region’s primary industries—factories, farms, supply chains—400 kilometers closer to the poles to escape rising temperatures. The costs are staggering, the logistics overwhelming, and the disruption profound.

Let’s just flip on it.
Tails, we all drive on the left.
Heads, we drive on the right.

Personally, I prefer driving on the left because this leaves the majority of people their good right arm to wave to their friends out the window .

I do love living in the tropics. It will rain like this for days and is **the best time** to read a good book.

My theory is, as we moved away from ‘Mum and Dad’ companies, and middleman became responsible for productivity, it became more important ti surround yourself with supporters rather than hard workers.
Name something that has quietly disappeared without anyone noticing?

I’ll go first - ‘being suitably rewarded for hard work’.

How is everyone feeling bout the Paul vs. Tyson match on November 16? I hate to admit it, but I’m excited. It just feels impossible to predict.

My handle is @sol-eks and I am rather chuffed with this. The name comes from the book ‘The call of the wild’ and belonged to a brave husky. I’ve had two dogs in my life, both called Sol-eks and both famously ‘indoorsy’. Neither has lived up to their namesake, but good doggo’s all the same.

If you’re good at your job, and you can work from home and want to, then you should be able to. Denying this is unreasonable.

Likewise, if you want to work from the office, feel free.

To each their own, I say.
