Partly for safety (folks should understand how dangerous these conditions are IRL) and partly because if you're going to write a mechanic, do even a modicum of due diligence first.

Not only do you avoid mechanical problems, you learn new things to play around with.

Is just one obvious example of why you don't want blood plasma in interstitial spaces.

There's also the potential for compartment syndrome.

And of course chronic exposure to any contaminants and genotoxicity.

For folks doubting whether they can live without these entities, my wife and I have not only done so for years (with the sole exception of being forced to by contractors outside our control), but the quality and price of items purchased has been better too.

Don't believe me?

I'll find it for you.

Now that Trump is back in control, we don't even know whether we'll ever see the full breadth of the files, or if they'll drop only those files that they can control narratives around, and thus propagandize with.

There is no "right time" for sunshine laws anymore. The files are out or they're not.

If only we'd released these files during Biden's tenure, when the FBI could redact identifying info of victims and point out unsubstantiated claims or statements in any given batch.

Except it's pretty obvious why they didn't appear, because the DNC was doing damage control too (Summers).

It's almost like maybe we shouldn't have one megalithic company that handles the vast majority of web safety...

I mean, I'm not arguing for giving folks a pass, nor should the onus be on you (or Jews in general) to fix that, just that we're in a statistical hell of disinfo and I'm not going to fault someone as long as they hear out where they've fallen into said disinfo and are willing to work to fix it.

I'm still learning and I've been reading on the topic (and other world history) for over two decades now with thankfully better sources.

This is all even worse when you add in AI. Imagine that trying to explain the complexities of Sephardim world history to someone with no attention span.

To be fair, the average person getting dropped into 2000 years of Jewish history (and the thousands of subcultures it represents) to handle a modern political crisis is absolutely going to hit one of the million bigoted pitfalls along the way. It's a lot of research for an undereducated population.

In a world where a normal cut can kill you due to lack of antibiotics, and you rely on your group and fellow travelers for access to materials that may be hard to access without trade or collaboration, violence was not the average answer.

Please, I beg of you, take a proper course on the subject.

Growing up, my neighbor was a Holocaust survivor. He never spoke a word about it, and I knew better than to ask him or his family. All I needed to do was open a history book. He's still alive, still haunted.

I don't know the depths of his trauma. I know that just a glimpse of it can shatter us.

I just spent last evening telling my wife (arachnids) that no matter how hard it is, no matter the fear of inadequacy, she's doing good science. That the people who live in bad science don't understand the ethic, and see papers instead of good work.

Keep on keepin' on. The good science shines.
