Spent today walking among the wildflowers. It’s a little thing but I’ve never seen a waratah in the wild. Beautiful.

Here’s the very fast-growing pittosporum undulata. It pops up from fruit dropped by (transferred through) birds and it’s suddenly there, a whole tree. Once a year, its fragrance is astonishing at night. The rest of the time, it’s dull but provides deep shade. 🌱

First time this one has flowered and it’s bringing the bees. 🌱
