Yeah that’s kinda similar to what my therapist did with me also. She assured me I didn’t do anything wrong and I wasn’t crazy and that I just got a bit emotional to how I was treated and from there she kinda helped me work on moving past it

oops I wanted to add more to what I said but I got distracted, essentially I showed online friends what happened and they all told me the same thing my therapist said but actually being able to hear it in person really helps and does wonders for your mental state

That makes sense but it’s honestly really relieving to be able to start talking about stuff you normally wouldn’t. My therapist really grounded me when I thought I had actually gone crazy but she assured me it was just cause of my ex. I felt so relieved after that session
