Finally got through Forever Faithful. Absolutely excellent book. I was a Smoke Jaguar fan but the Nova Cats are now a pretty solid second! #Battletech

I've been wanting to paint up a centurion for ages. As it's the Yen-Lo-Wang variant I combined a Davion scheme with the cover art of "Blood Will Tell". #Battletech

Voidbreaker down. Absolutely fantastic book. Clan wolf getting painted in greyer tones and the Seafoxes stealing some of that plot armour! Despite a somewhat erratic reading order I'm slowly getting through my battletech backlog. All 3 of these are brilliant books well worth picking up. #Battletech

Two more books down. Both fantastic reads. Ghost hour really takes the first book and escalates things, and Main Event has some of the best lance battles I've ever read! #Battletech

Posted this earlier in another context but I feel this needs its own post, this is the best battletech novel I have read to date. Don't read it first, you need an appreciation of the lore and mechs first. An absolute gem in the battletech series. #Battletech

Whenever I go back to 40k it's the home build terrain I'm here for. It's such a shame how the current rules feel so clunky with it, where is my 4+ cover save?!

Davion Cavalry Lance finally arrived! Unfortunately it looks like it was stomped on at some point. Mechs are fine but the cards are pretty fucked up. #Battletech

Paid in Blood. Another solid read, not my favourite to be fair but the sweeping battle around the HPG was fantastically well done with all the presents factions getting a good showing, a solid motivation, and a satisfying resolution. #Battletech

Teaching the little one battletech. The Marauder took a battering from the Rifleman's RAC5's but then caught the Rifleman's left torso ammo bin with his auto cannon. Davions wrecking Kuritans with autocannons, seems about right! #Battletech

The Jenner is finished. As usual my photography skills leave something to be desired! The highlights are much more orangy than the pictures show... Nevermind, it's another mech painted! #Battletech

I'm fortunate enough to still own a fairly good condition copy of the mech commander manual. Spent so much time staring at the pictures as a kid!

Found the Battletech beginner box in Toy Planet today. Nice to see Battletech on the UK high streets! Would have been cheaper online but any encouragement I can give to bricks and mortar stores I will do! #Battletech

It's been a while since I painted mech but a long weekend seemed the perfect excuse. A Rifleman for my Kurita force. Somewhat generic but I have a much more thematic Jenner and Panther to do next. And at some point I'll need to get a dragon! #Battletech

A Solaris showdown in the Patchwork arena. A Fafnir-5 duked it out with a Timberwolf Prime with the Smoke Jaguar mech still standing. The Fafnir nearly legged the Timberwolf but the barrage of LRM fire hit the Fafnirs head three times in 7 turns eventually criting out the cockpit! #Battletech
