That's always the giveaway that they never leave the house.
Go anywhere, literally anywhere, even just the grocery store, and you'll see even the most goblin-looking mofos with a wife.

It wasn't even GOOD fiction.
Like, I recognize that a lot of posts are fake, but most of the ones posted to BestOfRedditUpdates are at least somewhat entertaining to read.
This was just incel rage bait.

A lot of truth is said in jest.

I've watched this like 10 times in the last 24 hours and I still keep laughing at the absolutely over-the-top "YYEAA-"

There are millions of households in the same position as me: Not wealthy enough to not work, but able to dump $20K+ on a new roof without financing it when the need arises.
You just don't hear from us on social media.

Having the money to weather a financial storm is what defines middle class.
I consider myself middle class. I still need to work to pay the bills, but I could lose my job and I've got enough in savings to go unemployed for 6 months before I begin to sweat.

People say stuff like this, but I don't agree.
IMO, the middle class exists, but a LOT of people that aren't middle class think they are.
If you're living paycheck-to-paycheck and never have more than 1 months expenses in your bank account, then you're not middle class.

Call me cynical, but whenever I see protests against a US President, I always wonder how many of the protesters voted. I mean, I know the electoral college means individual votes can mean a lot less, but if you didn’t even show up to the polls, can you really complain about the outcome?

20 years ago, I saw someone with a rainbow shirt that said "Bi now, gay later"

"Non-binary now, full transition later" seems to be common, but doesn't have nearly the same ring to it.

I've started calling this "movie bladder", since it primarily happens at the movie theater. I can use the bathroom during the previews, and right when the movie starts, I'll feel the urge. But once the movie finishes, the urge is suddenly gone. I don't even go to the bathroom on the way out.
March 31, 2025 at 4:29 PM
I don't care for theaters either, but for a different problem.

If I'm in a situation where needing to urinate would be inconvenient, then I will feel the urge, even if I just went to the bathroom. I know it's all in my head, because the urge goes away once the situation has resolved.

...asked DALL-E for it, I get a more crazy result.
March 26, 2025 at 5:53 PM
In my experience, MJ would produce higher quality results, but DALL-E was better at sticking to my prompt. DALL-E was also better at creating more novel images. For example, if I asked MJ for "The world's most powerful pressure washer", I got pictures of just normal pressure washers. But if I...

Windows 10 is nearly 10 years old at this point

Imagine running Windows 95 in 2005 when XP had already been out for 4 years, and you skipped 98 and ME (though I wouldn't blame anyone for skipping Mistake Edition).

Back in the day, you basically replaced your computer every 3 years.

It's about triangles. It's in the name "trigonometry", which literally means "study of 3 sides".
Look at my username. I know this stuff.

IMO, the endless purity tests are why the left will never win elections.

WE could have a candidate promising universal healthcare, higher minimum wage, PTO requirements, parental leave, etc., but a leftist voter would be like "Yeah but they eat factory farmed eggs" and withhold their vote.

That person is entirely unreasonable. They blocked me and likely blocked you as well.

Endless virtue signaling gets tiring. Nearly everything you buy likely has an unethical source somewhere in the supply chain.
