I remember I did some jank deck that somehow was able to crew a consulate dreadnought with the lupine very easily. I forget how I was able to make it work, but it did every other play.

True, but they write and make the episodes way in advance. At the rate it took them to make and release them didn't help.

Blaming critics and the audience doesn't matter. Make good product, people will consume. Making excuses for your mid products not selling well doesn't excuse the product for being mid. Money is tight for everyone and people aren't willing to spend money for something everyone agrees isn't great.
