Of course! Understood. I'm also excited to see works from fellow lovers and enthusiasts of 3D platformers! I'm hoping to development one one day, after I make some projects and finish grad school, and another grad school program two or three years from now...

I love this so much! I'm actually a sucker for 3D platformers. It's my favorite genre of video games! If you don't mind me asking, what is the name of your project shown here?

I love the artwork in this game! I have to ask, was your game, in terms of level design as shown in the footage here, inspired at all by the first level of Sonic Adventure 1? It kinda reminded me of that...

in your view and in the views of others in this community? I'm not asking to begin an argument, I'm simply curious as to what your thoughts are and everyone else's thoughts are here. Wishing you all a wonderful day!!!

beings interact with the world around us, as well as explore the meaning of our existence and understand one another (e.g. watching television shows and movies, playing video games, looking at visual art, reading literature, etc.). At what point does consumption become a barrier to human happiness
March 31, 2025 at 9:36 PM
Good evening. My apologies for the random bother, however, I wanted to ask one question I've been pondering in my head ever since I saw this post earlier today. Up until now, I've always believed that consumption insofar as media is concerned is one of the primary methodologies by which we as human

Pardon me for my ignorance, but, what game is this, exactly? I kinda like the Action-RPG look to it.
March 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
This honestly looks awesome! Great work! I wish you all the best in your future work on this project! If you don't mind me asking (as I ask this question to every indie game dev I message online), what game engine did you use to develop this? I love the graphics, so, I was a bit curious.
March 16, 2025 at 6:35 PM
My apologies for the strange inquiry. I'm asking as I would one day like to develop a 3D platformer. Hopefully, maybe either a collectathon (in the style of the Spyro or Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series), or a high-speed 3D platformer (much like the Sonic the Hedgehog series)

I love this so much! Looking at the portion of the stage where you have the player grinding on a rail to progress, it reminds me of playing Sonic Heroes and the Sonic Adventure series growing up! If you don't mind me asking, what tutorials/resources were you referring to when developing this game?
February 11, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Interesting. I'm looking to learn Godot to make a game with some friends of mine at the moment. I've also thought about eventually using Unity as well, as I see the majority of developers still use it. What might be your advice, out of curiosity, on use of Unity, given their previous actions?

I love this so much! The graphics kinda remind me of Nintendo 64 and PlayStation One - era graphics during the fifth generation of gaming console hardware! If you don't mind me asking, what game engine are you using to develop this? I'm asking as I want to make a 3D platformer myself one day.

Not gonna lie, this do be giving me Super Paper Mario Vibes. I love it! Keep up the awesome work!!!
December 3, 2024 at 10:41 PM
Fair enough. Neither am I, just a different perspective. Once more, I wish you a lovely day! May you and your loved ones have a lovely and amazing Thanksgiving!!!
November 27, 2024 at 10:44 PM
Fair enough. I respectively agree to disagree. I believe developers ought to attempt to make their content accessible to all, including those with disabilities, as I one day hope to do the same for my games. However, I respect you and respect your difference in opinion. I wish you a lovely day!
November 27, 2024 at 10:34 PM
Additionally, when I say I believe games should be accessible to all, I am specifically referring to the implementation of accommodations for those with personal medical disabilities that may prevent them from engaging in gameplay under 'normal' circumstances. If I may ask, what are your thoughts?
November 27, 2024 at 10:24 PM
I believe it should be accessible to those with unique disabilities, to ensure all have at least a degree of individual liberty and autonomy in personally choosing to engage with this cultural piece of artwork. Of course, I am open to any and all contrary arguments to convince me otherwise.

to bond over and enjoy as a piece of cultural artwork. Of course, video games, much like any other medium of art, will be its very nature not hold to the interests and desires of every individual, so, I agree with your point in part in that regard. However, as a medium of art in contemporary culture

and share interests around similar gaming series and franchises. As we have witnessed in recent years, with the explosion of the indie game development scene (especially in cases such as Among Us, Fall Guys, etc.), gaming can be a mode of communal experience, or a form of storytelling for friends
November 27, 2024 at 10:22 PM
I understand. However (and please understand I am speaking purely from the perspective of someone who has friends who play video game, I myself play some, but very little), gaming is a form of cultural entertainment, a communal avenue of communication. Friends and acquaintances tend to socialize
November 27, 2024 at 10:22 PM
However, as always, I'm open to various points of view. My apologies if this comment section on my apart appears inappropriate. I am merely seeking various perspectives in this field. I welcome any and all discourse contrary to my perspective to convince me otherwise, though.
November 27, 2024 at 10:14 PM
Of course, no developer or worker owes anyone anything, however, I'm not certain if, as a future indie developer myself if I can agree with the sentiment that game developers should not at least attempt to provide accessibility for their audience, given gamin is culturally more mainstream now.
November 27, 2024 at 10:13 PM
Good evening! This is my first time responding to a discourse topic. However, as I wish to become an indie game developer myself, I'm not sure I agree. Gaming is art, and art is meant for the masses. While I'm not a gamer myself, I believe, if gaming is a form of art, it should be accessible to all.
