Where are you whenever scum celebrate the suicide of a trans teenager? Or baseless incarceration of ethnic minorities? Being so selective about who you call out does a lot to show who you are more permissive towards.

If you think that learning names (poorly as evidenced by spelling error) of a bunch of eristic figures you don't understand makes you look smart, I hate to break it to you but this is not a game and the fact that you cannot meaningfully engage with anything shows.

I'm too tired of this idiotic war to panic. Years of living on the edge, fearing it may spread here as well. I just stopped caring. Putin can drop a bomb on my head or not, whwtever. I just hope that our allies will take this as an opportunity to show that they are serious when they declare support.

The agi crowd is particularly amusing to me since believing agi can iteratively emerge from an llm is like believing a physical tomato can iteratively emerge from the concept of an hour. They are categorically different things and there are no transitory states from one to the other.

I exported my dissertation into a .doc format and opened it in Word 97. It worked perfectly fine. And it already used formatting features solid 90% of the users don't know about.

If you consider the thought experiment made to illustrate difficulties with defining consciousness as something you can pass or fail to prove anything then I think we need to redefine intelligence to make sure it doesn't include you.

Reminds me of a time a static set a trial for me in a fight that I cleared and they haven't, they haven't told me about the strat changes they made, they couldn't reach their own prog point, by their own admission I was the only trial who used feint in the entire fight and they left me waiting for
