It would be best to compare these with the weights of ICE vehicles. For example, the Ford F150 weighs 4000 pounds up to 7000 pounds.

This seems quite strange when my nearly 10 kW PV system cost $17,000 before tax credits 2 years ago or <$2/W. Is Elon this far from reality?

Thank you. A lot of times electricians have no idea the power draw of these things. If you use a hairdryer, you can probably use one of these.

A standalone induction cooktop plugs into a 110V outlet, and, on high, uses no more power than a hairdryer.

But the same agriculture department supports corn based ethanol, which requires 100 times the land for the same amount of energy. If the energy from 1 acre of solar panels goes to electric cars, then the ratio is 300:1.

When there are cavities underground in rocks or cracks, often quartz will be the last thing to solidify. If the quartz has water in it, it will create chalcedony or other similar crypto crystalline quartz material. Other minerals will solidify at a much higher temperature than quartz.
