This is exactly my reaction. Kind of (sadly) reinforced my notion that books are primarily entertainment. I actually think this is a good thing though. Let’s not fool ourselves into thinking anything less than direct action will make change happen.

There’s a lot of good stuff happening at the mo. I think as city, Wellington is used to this happening every 10 years or so. As for the people who lost their jobs, can’t really ever get used to that.
