because this conflict is very obviously a pointless inter-imperial pissing contest proxy war that will end in an eternal stalemate and cost billions of dollars and thousands of innocent lives
and people are becoming more and more aware of this fact as the war drags on

calling for an end to this war should absolutely be part of the leftist "platform" (for lack of a better word). it is a tangible short-term political goal that we can use to organize and potentially start growing an actually effective leftist/revolutionary movement in this country
