It's ironic really. They keep saying how the church infantilize me, while treating me as some lost child. It's unfathomable that one could go through a life-long spiritual and intellectual journey and reach the conclusion that they belong in the Body of Christ. "If I don't like it, how could you?"

A lot of my interaction is marked by unhinged levels of arrogance. They assume I'm either unaware of the injustices of the church, or I'm a self-hating conservative tr4nny almost detransitioning - not an adult making a conscious decision to have faith in God despite the flaws of wordly institutions.

Like I cannot stress enough how non-provocative I am, I simply do not engage with posts or accounts that I don't like, much less queer accounts who don't like religion. It's ALWAYS an anti-theist lashing out at me out of nowhere. Imagine doing this with some rando, on THEIR birthday???
