Sometimes it seems like just a doodle or another thing we made. Maybe it received some likes on social media, or maybe it’s something secret that no one has ever seen or heard. But it's the same need to heal wounds, survive, and make sense of each day.

Long before the mirror, early humans could only see their hands. Handprints on cave walls, some dating back 40,000 years, maybe the first self-portraits.
Their impulse to create, to mark their presence, resonates with us today. We continue to say "I'm here and this is my world as I see it"
