California’s Office of the Solicitor General is hiring! Our Office focuses on appellate advocacy, representing California and its officers and agencies in state and federal appellate courts. Along with our colleagues throughout the California Department of Justice, we are at the vanguard in the fight to protect important policies and personal freedoms. To name just a few examples, during the prior federal administration, we successfully defended both the Affordable Care Act and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in the U.S. Supreme Court.
