Just left Amsterdam after recording Fie Schouten’s *SPACE* project at the Bimhuis — a sonic exploration of Georges Perec’s Espèces d’Espaces. It was an honor to create alongside extraordinary artists: Fie Schouten, Pierre Baux, and Vicent Courtois. Live performances will follow soon!

Tonight’s the night: A Year Without Summer has its Vienna premiere @volkstheaterwien (and our first international show). Honored to be behind the drums for Florentina Holzinger striking work—the more it unfolds, the more it hits. 📸 MayaWallraff

Thank you, Ken Waxman, for reviewing TRIZMARIS in this insightful double feature on string-based trio music. I’m also now eager to listen to *Analog* by Benedict Taylor; Martina Verhoeven and Dirk Serries.

Thank you Bill Shoemaker for your words about TRIZMARIS in Point of Departure (www.pointofdeparture.org). Still pinching myself that TRIZMARIS is finding its people! And no appreciation post would be complete without my partners in crime Carlos Zíngaro, João Madeira and 4daRecord Records.

(2/2) For years, I’ve collected art books, yet women were strikingly absent from my shelves. Now, I’m rebalancing my collection with works by women. Starting with Nikki de Saint Phalle’s autobiography and Britta Marakatt-Labba’s spellbinding art. Recommendations: Share below!

(1/2) Last month, I shared a photo of the CDs I’d been listening to that week—a celebration of stepping back from streaming platforms. Today, I want to shine a light on the phenomenal women leading this week’s soundtrack—artists whose bold voices inspire me deeply. #InternationalWomensDay

Throwback Thursday to my solo set at @ausland.berlin last year.
Turns out, I just learned what “TBT” means—so here I am, diving headfirst into this oddly universal tradition and flexing my newfound social media literacy. 🎶

One year ago today we performed "morning songs" with @sofia-borges.bsky.social, @nokdk.bsky.social, Theda Weber-Lucks and Werner Dafeldecker at the Berlin School of Sound.
The video documentation is still being edited, but we'll get there eventually😅

I canceled my music streaming subscription. Now I’m back to stacking CDs and LPs, flipping through artwork, reading liner notes, and digging through record stores. It’s not nostalgia—it’s the tangible connections, the unexpected conversations in record shops. Sometimes, less tech really is more.

Bought this record when it dropped… 25 years ago. Ouch. Feeling ancient 🦕🦖
25 years ago today in 2000 the all-star collective New Directions released their self-titled debut, a set of originals & reimagined Blue Note classics featuring Stefon Harris, Jason Moran, Greg Osby & Mark Shim with Tarus Mateen & Nasheet Waits. Listen: bluenote.lnk.to/NewDirections
