Think I found my answer: "Poor quality is noticeable, but I think even worse issue is how bsky scales everything to 2000px widest edge, including smaller images. Upscaling pixel art and low res art looks horrendous and it also takes more storage space on Bsky servers." Thank you Sininini on github.
