Ended up writing 2,022 words today. Roughly 34,000 words into this 'final' draft now. It was a day where I had two writing sessions and neither one felt great. I was pushing hard to get something written. The 3rd session, just now, was bliss to write. I love this story.

1,400 words so far today. Not done, yet. At the fun part of tying up plot details in the 2nd act before revisiting the 3rd act for some needed fleshing out in a few areas. Excited to see what I can come up with.

2,200 words today. That wraps up a total of 12,700 in the past week. Not bad at all. In fact, it feels downright ambitious after the long lull I came out of.

Remember, keep writing. You can fix it if it's broken but you can't fix it if it doesn't exist!

Since I'm a devout Atheist, I substitute Jesus with a warm blanket and bucket of ice cream.

No writing today.

Back at it in the morning with some fresh ideas of how to torment my poor protagonist some more.

2,100 words today, so far, and the night is young. This is the most I have written in a single day in the past 5 years. I know there are a lot of discussions about the validity of writer's block but, whatever you want to call it, happy to be done with it.
