The prototypes for the OCULA/PIVIC twins have arrived and show first signs of life! So it seems at least power, clock and USB have not been butchered in the design or production 🥰

Concept evolved! Sibling custom video replacement devices in the work thanks to @lance-ewing.bsky.social. CIVIC for the VIC-20 and OCULA for the Oric. Still more polish, adjustments, alignment and preparations to do before moving to the next stage, but this is so much fun to work on 😀
