Eleventh book done! It’s been 2 months since my last read … picked up several different books that I couldn’t get into. Decided to re-read this classic (decades since I’ve read last). Truly a haunting book

Finally finished book number 10! My goal is to read at least 12 books this year so it’s exciting to be so close. I loved loved LOVED this book. I cried throughout the last chapter.

Ninth book … this was such a fascinating portrait of the way a specific time and landscape can give birth to something brief and organic and radiant and unexplainable. And was absolutely devastating. The story of Ian Curtis is just so fucking tragic and deeply sad and haunting. I ♥️ joy division
