I guess one just seemed less malicious to me, wasn't considering the bigger picture there, sorry about that. Whatever the intent, it is still utterly besides the point of the art when they make it about themself instead of just giving the piece positive attention in other really easy ways

I might be giving people too much credit but they may usually mean 'I wish I had something like that too' and not 'It should've been me' but if that were the case, why not just say that instead of defaulting to the meme without thinking how that'll make the artist feel, given the context especially

Going from the reveal and asking "how are they going to make chain wing whips work on this creature" to seeing it in full action and realizing "oh THAT'S how..." is like half of the magic of these games for me.

For how much I played Shrek 2 and Over the Hedge on PS2 growing up I'm surprised this never got added to the mix, especially with how much I watched the movie, should really give this a try sometime soon
