"The Christmas grant was one of the first substantial external grants to fund my dissertation research. The support from the Society for Reformation Research allowed me to spend a week in Halle, Germany at the Francke Foundations....

All geographic and confessional concentrations are eligible for the $2000 award, for students just beginning their archival research as well as those finishing up.

"Thanks to the SRR, I was able to conduct and publish original research in Summer 2023. The SRR award helped cover costs of travel and lodging during a five-week trip to the UK, including the British Library, Durham University Library, and the Oxford Bodleian.

Lomperis is the Richard B. Parker Professor of Theology and Wesleyan Thought at George Fox University as well as an officer and member of the SRR.
