Didn't post in a while BUT I've been working on the game and actually coded a new mechanic.
Surprisingly enough, it seems to work as intended 👀
Also reworked the UI and I'm much happier with it now. Still need work, though.

Added some foreground elements while also trying to play with pixel size to convey a feeling of depth.

My creative process is pretty consistent:
- postpone starting because I'm nervous it'll be bad
- look at tens of references
- start
- it is actually bad
- throw everything away
- take a break for a day or two
- come back to it
- start again
- hey, it's not that bad!

Didn't have time to work on Heroic for a few weeks, so I was feeling a bit down about it.
So I decided to launch the game and... was actually quite happy with what's going on so far ^^

Finished Bloodborne once again.
It's been something like 6 years since I last played it and I was thinking that maybe it aged a bit, but no, it's still a bloody gem of a game and one that I truly admire for (amongst many other things) its ability to restrain itself for coherence's sake.
