Civil rights were won by activists who were considered radicals by liberals of the time. Same with women's rights, gay rights, and disability rights. No, the people in that group fought like hell to gain those rights, liberals only jump on once it's above a 65% approval rating (see, gay marriage) and will jump ship the second they receive even the slightest pushback

It's because police have a hard time recruiting and hiring because people with any conscience or morals, because they usually refuse to be a cop. They have to fill their ranks with disgraced cops from other cities.
