Liberal doesn't mean, "antifascist." There were liberal Nazis. Just as there are liberal Zionists. One's desire to gradually alter a fascist system, or just make commerce more open, doesn't change the racism inherent to the system they operate in.

I have nothing to say about this. Him being a Zionist was enough of a character hit. Maybe he was a pedophile as well, but I'd need more evidence than is likely to come out.

Just as, "the noble savage," is a myth directed at American Indians. Thinking going through the holocaust made every victim a better person is a myth, directed at survivors. Maus, is an excellent series about it

I can understand it, as he was a holocaust survivor. Many of them came out with contradictory beliefs on the subject of human rights.

When does, "socialism," come into this? This all makes sense under a capitalist or state capitalist economy, but I'm trying to understand what socialism has to do with it. Like, in a socialist economy everything produced would be shared.

It has definitely been a thought for both of us to leave our respective states, and move to Minnesota. I live in Missouri.
