I've just noticed that #johnnymercer MP's libel case against the #bbc is scrubbed from #Google results under the EU "right to be forgotten" legislation.

Even though that shouldn't apply to him, as he's a public, political, figure, who was voluntarily on national TV, and he discussed this issue […]

The reason rogue Timelords all go by aliases is because, being able to see through all of time and thus the kiddies are going to be disgraced misfits, their parents all name them after 70s kids TV presenters.

The reality for the other students is that they are no longer enrolled in a psychology class. It is a Psychology plus My Personal Christian Beliefs class.

Every class at OU is now a My Personal Christian Beliefs class.

Every time any student raises such beliefs, instructors have to accept them.

The #tories don't know if they were riding the tiger, or if it was riding them.
They were so busy trying to shove Hammond et al off that they didn't ever stop to think how they might dismount.

So here we are, with them all taking chunks out of each other as Reform keeps gobbling on their […]

#neilyoung's song "Rockin' in the Free World" is actually about #cslewis's 'The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe'.

The eponymous "free world" being #narnia after it is liberated from the ice witch through the re-institution of a divinely appointed monarchy.

The song calls upon the USA to […]

Kimmel was suspended for offending the president, after coordination between the FCC commissioner and a huge media company.

This thread underscores an important, overlooked part of all this: To get his job back, he's been told he must make a contribution to a Christian nationalist organization.

Could we please stop pretending that the flags being hung from streetlamps or painted on roundabouts are innocent expressions of patriotic pride? This is the far right marking out its territory. It uses these flags to intimidate its traditional victims and opponents. 🧵1/3

"The Moon is made of cheese!"

Here's an encyclopaedia entry entitled 'the Moon can't be made of cheese, and here is why you'd have to be an idiot to believe it is.'

"I wasn't aware of this: But I don't see why that should deter me from continuing to pontificate about how the Moon is definitely […]

I often think about how #gandalf comforts #pippin by talking about an afterlife in Valinor in the #returnoftheking movie; how Pippin responds with "that doesn't sound so bad"
... and how Gandalf doesn't then go "Oh, that's just for me.
Elves go roughly the same way, but then have to hang around […]

It’s 3am here but Matt Taibbi has yet again misread a (politicized) doc release to claim it says something it doesn’t. He’s so blinded by a desire to exonerate Russia/be right that he’s become functionally illiterate.
