I mean, with the one I was offered I would retire in less than 25. With the other, I would be there for like 35 years. So that is being considered lol

Haha very true. And the benefits are great. Plus, I know multiple people who do the job so I know what I am getting in to with pay, benefits, etc. So they definitely helps!

Two entirely different fields haha. Both offers would have me doing things with absolutely zero relation to each other. One follows with my degree I am finishing, which is the fun one, and the other is based fully off my skills as a person

That's what I think too but I would probably never make it to even half of what that job makes if I go the fun route

Sent the wrong reply at first xD ignore that if you saw it. But it is stable, and a job AI cant do and is in demand. Plus early retirement with pension. No severance plan and hours and days would be rough but no money issues anymore and a career sounds really nice.

It's certainly not something I ever expected, I can say that for sure. So I am very happy that I am able to do so! It shows that my work has been paying off!

If I don't take this job offer, it is gone forever, so it's not like I can try for it again some day. It is now or never and it is just such a tough choice lol. Never thought I would be in this position and it is so stressful
