Fuck all of these media billionaires. It's back to books and freakin' jigsaw puzzles for me.

And not for nothin', but Elizabeth Warren has been warning us of this shit for years.

My point is, in under a half an hour and for about 5 dollars, you can leave Spotify or YouTube music without too much pain.

Please do.

I shouldn't need the tunemymusic subscription after I finalize my new service and transfer everything. It stays on Deezer. (I haven't actually canceled mine yet, but Reddit suggests this is the case.)

3. Transferred everything - music, favorite artists, playlists, all of it - from Spotify to Deezer. (You can do this with the other services also.)

Of the near 10K songs I had on Spotify, I lost about 30 that Deezer doesn't have, but I can see what they are and look for them manually.

2. Went to tunemymusic (website) and signed up for a premium account, for $5.50 per month, to transfer my music and playlists. (There are a few other services that do this also: I've heard of Musconv and Soundiiz.)

1. Downloaded Deezer and set up an account and a free one-month trial. (There are other music services; I'm just trying Deezer first. I hear good things about Qobuz and Tidal as well. As of right now, without any deals, Deezer is the cheapest, and the same as Spotify.)

This seems like a lot to hand them in the battle over the media narrative...especially when they have a long history and continued practice of altering visual media to lie to publics both here and overseas.
