As a middle school History teacher, I can say that most good teachers are doing that and have been for a long time. People need to stop blaming teachers for others’ stupidity. The Constitution is covered in elementary, middle and high school, as is critical thinking.

That is a lovely thought. I am in a zone that has been warned to pack a bag, evacuation pending. Our pool is filled with ash and the air is filled with smoke. A bucket with a partial cover might work.

I am a middle school history teacher. Last year, on January 6, I showed my students footage from that day. Many students, especially those whose parents are Trump supporters, had never seen it or had heard of it.
