They will have immediate needs now that, not only federal/county grants are being affected, but private companies are pulling funding out of precaution

The local non-profits I support have lost or are at risk of losing funding they need for their work, 1 has received threats so they need a guard and a fence, another one estimates they’ll lose 2-4 of their mental healthcare workers who are already vastly underpaid but still serving their community.

I don’t know what their intention was and I hope I never find out.. but don’t fall for it! You don’t have to answer specific questions like this, no matter how kind, fun and safe the strangers seem, it’s not worth it. /r

And they ask for more details until they get the city.. more laughing. “ no way, how old are you?”, “when’s your birthday?” You reply with a month and they want the exact date cause guess what? “my wife/kid is from the same month!” .. and so on… “what do you do for work? Where?”
