WE Tech PR. Talks too much about laws, courts and tech policy to be popular at a party. If “Oscar the Grouch” was a human being who occasionally runs and posts dog photos.
It’s not every day you help ring the Nasdaq opening bell… and it is definitely not everyday that you somehow end up on the display in Times Square. Sigh.

I’d like to publicly thank/hate @bgluckman.bsky.social for telling me that there is an Old Bay watch, bc it infiltrated my mind so much that I went above and beyond to order it today bc there was no way I couldn’t have it

Coming to SFO from SeaTac is always so jarring.

Big wide open airport, not surrounded by construction. Relatively easily to navigate.

Considering I just got another piece of Old Bay swag delivered I can’t argue with this meme (cc @bgluckman.bsky.social).

Flavorful and effective.

Capturing my vibes so perfectly.

Merry Christmas. As my gift to you all, I’m going to give you a glimpse into the pecking order and the dynamic in our house.

These are our stockings. Guess which one belongs to the dog? 🐕 🎄

Nothing like landing on a cross country flight and hearing that there was a security incident at SeaTac airport and they aren’t letting planes pull out or deplane.

I do miss these running views. DC always trying to lure me back, even though it then lets something crazy out that reminds me why we keep our distance. #runclub

Back in some familiar stomping grounds this week…

When you forget to doublecheck schedules and overlap your NYC trip with #Santacon.

I appreciated the woman near me who exclaimed “crap! I forgot it was SantaCon. We need to be out of the city by 6pm.”

The one upside to being sent on multiple back to back trips? New locations for a morning run.

Up today? Central Park

And my point is immediately proved. 🙄

Good morning SF. Thank you for giving this vitamin D deficient Seattle dweller a reason to get out bed this week.

Part of me wonders if this is Google Gemini hallucinating, but then I remember that YouTube exists and I’m sure someone actually tested this with their Cybertruck.

Not me reading @joannastern.bsky.social’s Tech Things newsletter about her experiences with Waymo while riding in a Waymo for the second time.

She’s 100% accurate 🎯 about how the left turns into intersections is an area for improvement. Also I had to chase mine to get in.

As someone who usually uses the self checkout at the grocery store to avoid unnecessary small talk, I now 100% get the appeal of Waymo. Especially once I started blasting songs just for us.

Hello from the land of #semiconductor manufacturing. Unfortunately for all of you there will be no clean room photos from this trip. #tech

Things are just fine in the Seattle area right now. Nothing to see here folks! 🗑️ 🔥
November 20, 2024 at 6:37 PM
Nothing to see here. Just my dog Rhys barking in his sleep and then barking himself awake while I’m trying to work.
November 19, 2024 at 1:10 AM
I’m convinced my dog only uses his dog bed when I put my shoes next to it and he can use them as a headrest.

Good morning to everyone except for this maniac who woke me up by howling to sirens only he could hear or was dreaming about. 🐕 🚨

I know we’ve seriously lowered the floor for elected officials in 2024, but have we lowered it so far that “I shot and killed my dog” and isn’t immediately disqualifying?

I hate it here.

God searching Moscow on the hellsite that is X is a depressing look at how much now runs rampant.

What is it with unhinged billionaires and boats? Seriously, do you suddenly lose interest in land once you get that extra comma and set of zeros in your bank account?

“This should be in a restaurant” is a first for me.

Between the sugar high and that comment, I can go to bed satiated.

Apple dumplings with a walnut filling, bourbon-caramel sauce and some cinnamon whipped cream. 🤤
