A combo of it being quite boring and the grind for the shiny charm. Once I got the charm I was so exhausted of playing that I didn't even hunt! Finger's crossed the DLC adds a new layer to things.

My 10 year old asked about it due to friends, and I contemplated it but eventually landed on "hell no". It was a good moment to talk to her about "fads" and how it's ok to not be involved in 100% of what others are into.

They had a little print out of 50 boxes they were crossing out as they gave them out. Thankfully they gave a code to my daughter as well as me, so she gets her Koraidon.

Matt you look fantastic, hell yeah. I'm also a big guy going through a big loss (315 start of the year, 280 now, 240 initial goal), the struggle is real but worth it. Congratulations!!

Also those games are a huge hit with the kids and easy to pick up for some co-op with them.

Yeah this was super weird feeling, even moreso than past AC games. I wrapped up Yasuke's story first, which felt like a great resolution to his story and perhaps the game as a whole. But then I had all the other stuff and the impact of the order I went with made it just have no weight?

Taking so many screenshots to reference later and encountering things that just make me go "oh no, this is smart people stuff". Been a real fun day 1 with the game.
