It definitely is, I had a way longer thing written out but nuance is difficult with the character limit. I still finished AW2 and I recognize it's one of the best in the genre. I understand everyone who's praising it. Signalis is the only other one I finished.

Alan Wake 2 was the game that made me realize definitively that those games are just not for me. Managing ammo and resources is not fun for me and only makes me anxious, while the horror aspect is more annoying than scary in any enjoyable way. Some genres are just not for everyone.
