It’s not a matter of ignoring the gaslighting but more so choosing who I serve through the work I do. Services and support are still needed and providing the idiocracy constant attention takes away focus from the work.

From time to time I see job postings with listed salary ranges for higher education positions across areas. It has me aware how woefully underpaid I was in those former systems I existed in. Plus having to fundraise for my own position and services for students with each institution. I hustled.
