Grieving so hard for this sweet little guy that I feel like I'm losing it a little bit

I don't know if there are pet mediums (there have to be) but I can imagine going to one just to say "Does he know that I loved him so much that my heart couldn't contain it" and have them say yes, he knows

We had to say goodbye to this sweet little man tonight. Stanlee was an elderly rescue--we never did figure out exactly how old--with heartworm who we fostered to adopt. We weren't sure he'd make it through that first winter but he lived with us for five years. We were so lucky to have that time. ❤️

OK but this has purple and a loon (I realize that the colors are a football reference but I can live with it)

This weekend, next to Lake Superior, Haddayr got down on one knee and offered to make an honest enby out of me. I was not expecting it! But I said "Of course," of course. 💜

I couldn't tell you when the last time I caught a sunrise was but here's today's

We drove the Gunflint Trail today. It was pretty rainy and my knee is not 100% but we "hiked" a short ways at a couple of spots. No moose 🫎 or bears 🐻 but I saw a pheasant and chatted with a ground squirrel.

Came up north to check on Lake Superior and good news everyone it's still here

I mean I was walking our elderly Chihuahua and still wearing this outfit from work so I guess

Some lovely person in our neighborhood keeps putting little sentinels on the fire hydrant on our corner and this is the latest escalation

This is hail that the 18-year-old in our household just picked up. LOTS of this fell. Hoping not too many people got roof or vehicle damage.
