🕸️ Last night was a lot of fun. I was sitting in front of the house, dressed up as an evil spider master and handing out sweets to the children from an old straw hat. Imagine the fog machine, the deep bass drones and noises, and the clicking of spider legs coming from the BT box in the background. 🕷️

🎧 The three ambient tracks for my concept album “Grey Hours” are now mixed - time for the master session! I'm trying to balance the songs a bit in terms of sound and dynamics to create a coherent overall picture for the album. With a total length of ca. 54 minutes, that means a lot of listening... 😀

🍏The last autumn harvest in my backyard garden before winter. 85 quinces, thats about 34 kg / 75 lbs . I will make jam, jelly, and quince bread out of them - an older type of sweets that my grandma used to make.
Oh, and of course, I'll also make some quince and physalis flavoured gin.

😍 Saved from being scrapped at work — a Philips AQ6455 tape recorder with variable speed control and separate treble and bass controls. It is in great condition and fully functional. Let's see if I can properly integrate this beauty into my mastering chain. 🖭
