I was in the same situation. They took a fucking month to get back to me with an answer, so I had to skip a semester because I couldn’t afford it. Now I’m about to be kicked out of my house since I’m not on college. I hate this timeline.

While I do agree SM64 is kinda overhyped, I do appreciate it for what it did for the industry and it DID set the standard of 3D Mario games being what Nintendo goes the most hard on, so I see it as more of an Event that Happened than a game worth playing on its own merits

It truly has the best vibe of any Nintendo game they ever made. I hope and pray they do something like it again.

I mean, to be completely honest, it WAS rushed. The dev team didn’t have a lot of time and they had to cut a lot. If they didn’t, it probably would have been the best platformer in the world. But even with the struggles they had, they ended up with a fantastic game that is worth way more discussion
