First snow of the season here! Mostly small aggregates, corresponding to radar reflectivity < 30 dBZ and low ZDR/KDP.

Not the best photo, but the aurora was clearly visible down here in Maryland.

Relatively high ZDR (~1-2 dB) over Montgomery County, MD for snow aggregates, especially with reflectivity > 20 dBZ. The correlation coefficient is also relatively low (< 0.97), suggesting flatter, canting aggregates potentially mixed with pristine crystals.
