I have been warning a lot of people about these oncoming actions by the Trump administration on the potential oppression of NSFW and kink content in general (art, literature, films, etc.). It will affect all of us. I drew up a poster on what we could do to stop this.

The Trump administration has flirted with the concept of banning pornography in general, with Project 2025 (which would obviously be used to claim LGBT content as pornographic, which would harm them as well). What's more alarming is that there are plans to put in a bill in the state of Oklahoma that would ban pornography and imprision people who produce, distribute, or even have possessed pornographic material in that state. These are troubling signs of the future regarding NSFW and kink content in the United States. We must combat this through unification, bringing awareness to the situation, and promoting each other even if we share different kinks or other things. As long as it doesn't bring any harm to individuals or is not into contact with minors (since NSFW and kink content is sexual in nature), people should have the right to make, distribute, and possess pornography. Many artists, writers, filmmakers, and more would be at risk of these oncoming practices by the United States government. There are many who also are afraid to express their own love for NSFW and kink content out of fear of backlash or social pressure, including many who work in entertainment industries. We should all unite and fight this oncoming oppression before it screws all of us over. Use the hashtag #ShowYourNSFWAndKinkPride on BlueSky as a way to unify all of us to show our voice in the world, to inspire change to make sure we are safe from tyranny. Promote your own works through this hashtag; support others with likes, reposts, and comments; etc. We must stand by each other!"
