Juneau turns out big!
With a population of only 32,000 residents the state capitol of Alaska even Republicans are turning out! I estimate the turnout to be close to 2,000+.
No police, no ICE and no MAGA hats or flags.
And No violence.

I ventured into the new Three Bears yesterday. Nice store, but rather spendy. Fun to see something’s one can get elsewhere but that’s it for me. Just too $$ for the weekly grocery shop. 🤷♀️

Sitting at SEA waiting for the late flight home, as Delta only has one flight a day to FAI
Magnificent trip to Europe. I can wholeheartedly confirm, if I didn’t miss my cats desperately, I’d still be there. England currently has my heart, I shall be returning soon. My daughter is a very wise woman!

I just took a most spectacular fall. Good thing I go home tomorrow because while I didn’t break anything, walking is going to be a challenge. Hopefully some kind soul will put my suitcase in the overhead! 🤣😭

Update on my car situation.
My housemate took it to the shop he uses. Totally different diagnosis than the original. $1200 fix not the $3200 originally quoted. Turns out @akred.bsky.social was correct. Your comment about the oil pan gave me pause. Nothing wrong with it. Thank you for speaking up!
